My name is Andree Catherine.

Born and raised in Rayne, Louisiana, I am a graduate from The University of Louisiana at Lafayette

where I earned my bachelor's degree in Visual Arts and a minor in Business.  My education and careers have set me on a path to pursue my passion for art. 

 

I draw much of my inspiration from the beautiful scenery that is unique to the South. The colors and textures found within nature resonate within me and are reflected in my art. Whether it's paintings or drawings, I strive to create art that people feel a connection to, and that they can cherish for generations to come.

I have really been enjoying painting live at weddings.  I absolutely love interacting with the guests and I feel so honored to be a part of the couple's day.  I work very hard to make sure every detail is captured in my paintings,  filling them with an abundance of color and texture.

It gives me pure joy to see a couple's reaction to the finished product.  Knowing that the family gets to enjoy the paintings for generations to come is so special.

 Landscape Portraits, or Family Tree Portraits, are unique ways for families wanting to capture their home or a landscape that is very meaningful to them. These make for great Mother's / Father's Day gifts, anniversary gifts, or family heirlooms. 

 

I am not limited to simply acrylic paint and enjoy using other mediums such as graphite for black and white portraits and textiles in abstract works.

I work by the hour and I would be happy to give you an estimate if you are interested. 

Prices are based upon canvas size, detail, and the medium you choose.
